Ranger Accelerator Mod As impressed as we are with the power and handling of our new Ranger we found the design and position of the accelerator pedal positively awful. It sits up in the air requiring the foot be held at a steep angle that tires the muscles quickly and makes delicate throttle moves impossible. This platform is the solution. It's constructed from pressure treated plywood, measures 14” x 8” x 1 ½” thick and is cut at an angle to match the access panel in the center of the floor. Once attached to the access panel it provides a much more natural, comfortable and controllable angle for your foot to operate the accelerator pedal. Drive the machine twice and you’ll be so used to it you won’t even know it’s there, except you’ll no longer suffer from the muscle strain of the stock set-up.
